California Cheeses Class with Ashley

Cheese classes are back in session! Join us for our California Cheeses Class, led by Cheesemonger Ashley. Learn about our state’s dairy & cheese history while tasting select cheeses from some of our favorite California creameries paired along with beautiful California wines.

Cheese Platter Building Class (Sat 12/10)

We are thrilled to be bringing back our Cheese Platter Building Class! With the holidays right around the corner this is the perfect time to get prepared & educated in the creative art of cheese & charcuterie platter building. This class is led by our experienced Cheesemonger Ashley. She’ll walk you through the ins and outs of platter building from making cheese selections to assembly. A peek into the American Cheese Society!

Did you know that our main cheese industry group is called The American Cheese Society?! We have an annual conference where cheesemakers, cheesemongers, and cheese professionals come together to celebrate American-made cheese. This year the conference took place in Richmond, Virginia and Lydia and Marnie were able to attend (and speak on a panel!) There were over 1,700 American-made cheeses under one convention roof and over 3 days we talked, listened and ate all things cheese. Join us for an evening into the world of American Cheese Society and taste some of our new favorite finds as we share stories about the important producers we just spent time with.
